BIG Country 107.7 Midday Opening:
Saga Communications/Spencer, Iowa is looking for a full-time on-air midday personality on our 100,000 watt station KICD FM BIG Country 107.7. Spencer is located in beautiful northwest Iowa … 15 miles south of the Iowa Great Lakes … and just 90 minutes east of Sioux Falls, SD.

The Spencer Radio Group consists of 5 stations (KICD-FM BIG Country; KICD-AM News-Talk; KMRR-FM MORE 104.9; PURE Oldies 98.3 and 98.9 CHUCK FM) reaching a coverage area of over 15 counties. JOB DUTIES/DESCRIPTION:
1. Host on-air midday show 10am-2pm Monday-Friday with creativity and compelling content.
2. Assist Farm Department with giving LIVE market updates on-air.
3. Required to work a weekend shift (every third weekend rotation).
4. Connect with listeners via phones, social, web and on-site events.
5. Daily social media & website generation.
6. Voice and produce commercials as assigned.
7. LIVE broadcasts and station appearances, whether paid or unpaid.
8. Voicetracking or fill-in on any of our 5 stations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must reside in Spencer (or surrounding area).
2. Engaging and charismatic on-air voice/personality.
3. General Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Audition, Wide Orbit Automation, Word Press.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills; proficient in grammar.
5. Can work well in a team environment. Able to understand and take direction.
