BIG Country 107.7; Newsradio 102.5 FM and 1240 AM KICD; and MORE 104.9 (aka Spencer Media Group) is conducting the “Grand Fair Giveaway” contest starting April 14th through May 2nd, 2025.  Listeners must register for the chance to win on www.bigcountry1077.com; www.northwestiowanow.com or www.more1049.com.  Each weekday morning at 8am BIG Country 107.7; Newsradio 102.5 FM and 1240 AM KICD and MORE 104.9 will simultaneously announce one name at random from all entries.  That listener will have 10 minutes to call the radio station.

BIG Country 107.7; KICD AM and MORE 104.9 will conduct this contest concurrently and simultaneously.  Listeners will, therefore, be competing with listeners of other radio stations to win the same prize.  No purchase necessary.  When calling the radio station for this contest, the phone call will be recorded for promotional purposes.

The “Grand Fair Giveaway” prize will consist of 2 tickets to every grandstand show at this year’s Clay County Fair. Valued at $1,024.00.

  • 2 tickets – Battle of the Blue Ribbon: Sept. 12th
  • 2 tickets – All Star Monster Trucks: Sept. 13th
  • 2 tickets – Outlaw Truck & Tractor Pull: Sept. 14th
  • 2 gate passes for every day of the fair
  • Parking pass in the yellow lot (on fairgrounds)
  • Carnival wristband (good for all week)
  • Clay County Fair Food-bucks ($150 value)

Must be at least 18 years of age to enter.  Listeners may enter up to one time per day.  Listeners can only win one time, only one winner per household.  Spencer Radio Group is not responsible for any phone technical difficulties.  If listening to the radio station(s) via online stream, the audio may be delayed when listening.

The prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.  Winner will be responsible for any taxes and fees that may occur.  Full contest rules are available at bigcountry1077.com or more1049.com.Spencer Radio Group contests are open to all eligible listeners in within northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota 18 or older have not won anything on and SRG station in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of the Spencer Media Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of any Spencer Radio Group station’s main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
