Full-time Sales Media Advisor Job Description:
Duties for this position include (but not limited to):
The right person will enjoy making connections with business owners, discovering their needs, and developing custom marketing solutions for their business. In this position, you will have the flexibility to manage your own time and the ability to grow your income, based on your efforts.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and persistent salesperson to find, sell, and service new business as well as work with your existing client list. We have a highly successful team, and our clients have grown to expect the best from us.

If you are a high-energy, self-starter who has a passion for helping people succeed, you will find that our combination of great stations, exciting promotions, and the sales tools will be a formula for growth and achievement. Sales and digital experience is preferred but not required.

Duties for this position include (but not limited to):
– Strategize, Plan and Create effective proposals for digital & radio marketing
– Have excellent communication skills and works well with people
– Computer knowledge
– Have an understanding and familiarity with websites / social media / digital marketing
– A valid driver’s license and vehicle

Full-time Traffic Director Job Description:
Hours will be Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm, with a lunch break from 12:30pm-1:30pm.
Duties for this position include (but not limited to):
– Compile and schedule daily commercial logs for 5 stations
– Reconcile commercial logs and post for billing
– Process sales orders
– Setup new accounts
– Verify Accounts Receivables daily
– Verify Political Rates bi-weekly
– Computer knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
– Detail oriented and able to multi-task
– Back-up to Copy Director and Receptionist

The person in this position must be computer savvy, organized, competent with data entry, able to multi-task, work well with others, be able to meet deadlines and be self-motivated.

This person will work closely with our sales team and Business Manager.  This person will be required to work at some of the station’s events throughout the year, such as the Clay County Fair, Vinestock, etc. Some weekend and evening hours will be required. There will be times this person will be representing the Spencer Media Group in public and interacting/working with the public.
