May is Beef Month and we are celebrating on Big Country 1077!

What is your favorite cut of beef? How do you like it cooked? Take our weekly Beef Month Poll for a chance to win some great prizes. We will have a different poll each week in May. At the end of each week, we will draw one lucky participant to receive $25 in beef certificates courtesy of the Clay County Cattlemen. Then on Monday, June 1st, we will draw for a grand prize – a beef box worth $200 from Klein Beef in Sanborn and a mini fridge from Doll Distributing!

Cheryl Bethke of Hartley is our 1st week winner of $25 in beef certificates. Our favorite cut of beef looks to be Ribeye!

Anita Edwards is week #2 winner. Most of us like our steak Medium Rare or Medium.

May Beef Month is brought to you by: Algona Livestock, Stateline Cooperative, Prairie Feed and Trucking, Spencer Ag Center, HyVee in Spencer, Sioux Valley Stock Farm, Ruthven Care Center, Christian’s Sheet Metal, Klein Beef in Sanborn, Doll Distributing and the Clay County Cattlemen.
