Monday, April 1st is “April Foods Day!”  On this day, the Spencer Radio Group will be in our north parking lot on highway 71 collecting donations between 6am-6pm for the Upper Des Moines Food Pantry.

If you would like to donate, drive into the parking lot with your non-perishable food items.  Our staff will collect your donations from your vehicle.  If you give a minimum $10 donation, or 10 items or more of food items, you’ll receive a $5 coupon to use at Spencer Pizza Ranch!

The biggest need at the food pantry right now is chicken or tuna; canned fruit; cereal; hamburger helper; tuna helper; spaghetti; boxed potatoes; rice, soups; toilet paper; and hygiene items.

Together let’s restock the food pantry to make sure nobody in Clay County goes hungry.  The Spencer Radio Group would like to give a special thank you to Mr. B’s Flooring for the use of their van.

We hope you’ll join us on Monday, April 1st for “April Foods Day!”
