Primghar, IA (KICD) — A Sheldon woman was injured in a single vehicle rollover.
The O’Brien County Sheriffs Office said the accident happened Thursday evening, in the 5500 mile of County B-40.  21-year old Chelsey Meyeraan was heading west in a 1988 Cadillac Deville, when she became distracted.  The car crossed the road going into the south ditch.
Meyeraan overcorrected, and the Cadillac rolled onto its top.  She had to be extracated from the vehicle, and was taken to the hospital, with non-life theatening injuries.

Lake Park, IA (KICD) — A Lake Park man was trapped in a vehicle after it went off the road and wound up in water.

The Dickinson County Sheriffs Office said around 5 Thursday afternoon, Stan Heikens was driving a 2015 Chevy pickup on Highway 9, east of 170th Avenue. Heikens suffered an unknown medical condition, and the pickup went off the south side of the road, into a wetland. It then went through the ice, and came to rest in approximately 2 to 3 feet deep water.

Heikens was removed by fire and EMS personel and was taken to the hospital. the accident remains under investigation.

Hull, IA (KICD) — A two vehicle accident north of Hull injured three.
The Sioux County Sheriffs Office said the accident happened Thursday morning one mile north of Hull, on Hickory Avenue.  Myra Modder of George was driving a 2005 Ford Freestyle north.  She was struck by a southbound 2003 GMC Envoy, driven by Jillian Meyer of Boyden, after losing control.
Both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles.  Modder, Meyer and a passenger in the Envoy, Chrystal Meyer of Boyden were injured and taken to the hospital.  The accident remains under investigation.

Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)–A man from Emmetsburg has been arrested on drug charges.

 Michael Nelson was arrested Wednesday on Palo Alto County warrants for possession of meth and marijuana.  Upon his arrest by Emmetsburg Police Nelson was also found to be in possession of a prescription drug and he was cited for that as well.
