Storm Lake, IA (KICD)–Additional charges have been filed in connection to an alleged residential burglary and foot pursuit.
Storm Lake Police allege that 18-year-old Ron Ladore was in possession of ammunition which was stolen from a vehicle when he was arrested. Police further report that along the path of the foot pursuit of Ladore they recovered several rounds of ammunition, handgun magazines and a knife all of which was allegedly stolen a vehicle.
It was also found that Ladore stole a small bottle of whiskey from another car.
Two additional counts of Burglary to a Vehicle have been levied against Ladore in addition to the same charge filed last week.
Spencer, IA (KICD)–A Spencer woman has been arrested on three Clay County arrest warrants.
19-year-old Hayley Byerly was taken into custody Saturday on original charges of possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.
Spencer, IA(KICD)– A traffic stop leads to finding drugs and drug paraphernalia.
On June 4th, a Clay County Deputy made a routine traffic stop due to a speeding violation. The vehiclist was 24 year old Nathan Thomas Vanderlinden of Orange City.
The traffic stop was made at the 1600 mile of Hwy 10 at the intersection of 170th Ave. The deputy found Vanderlinden to be driving without a valid license and upon further investigation, the smell of marijuana was discovered.
Vanderlinden was arrested and taken to the Clay County Jail. A search found drug paraphernalia and marijuana inside the vehicle.
Peterson, IA (KICD)–A wanted Peterson man was recently arrested on additional charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Joshua Spencer on two trespassing warrants. After a pat down pot was found leading to an additional charge of possession of marijuana.
Sherburn, MN (KICD)–An Estherville man struck a deer on I-90 in Martin County early Monday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that 32 year old Brian Anderson was driving a 1994 Honda Motorcycle when he struck a deer while driving East.
Anderson was taken to the Fairmont hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Sheldon, IA (KICD)–A Sheldon man was recently arrested after leaving the scene of an OWI accident.
52-year-old Michael Ahlers was arrest early Friday morning by Sheldon Police on charges of OWI 1st offense and leaving the scene of an accident. Ahlers was released from jail after posting bail.
