Spencer Drug Bust

Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Spencer Police Department and other Law Enforcement agents gathered to execute a search warrant at 206 35th Ave W in Spencer.

As a result of the search 57-year-old Tracy Campbell and 31-year-old Jaydee Carney were taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Jail. Campbell was found to be in possession of Meth, Marijuana, Psilocybin Mushrooms, 3 Prescription Controlled Substances, 7 additional prescription medications and drug paraphernalia.

Campbell was charged with Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense, Possession of Psilocybin, 3 counts Possession of a controlled substance, 7 counts of Unlawful Possession of prescription drugs, Possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.

Carney was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Cherokee County and to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carney was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office or Text-A-Tip. Those who provide additional information or information resulting in the arrest of additional suspects will be eligible for cash rewards.
