AGCO Dealing With Farm Slump


Jackson, MN (KICD)–Lower commodity prices and projected net farm income is affecting some agriculture manufacturers.

AGCO has recently laid off 111 workers in Kansas. As for the Jackson AGCO plant Director of Operations Eric Fisher tells KICD News that no full time employees have been laid off locally.

To date 52 temporary workers have been let go.

The Jackson AGCO plant has approximately 1,300 employees.
