Arrests Made For No Contact Order Violation

Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– Two arrests have been made following a call to Storm Lake Motel.

The Storm Lake Police Department responded to the Sail Inn Motel just after 7:30 on Thursday after receiving a report of a couple violating a no contact order.

Upon arrival, officers allegedly found 36-year-old Lindsey Mortensen and 37-year-old Shane Meyer, both of Storm Lake in the same guest room in violation of a court order.

After an investigation, Meyer was arrested and charged with violation of a No Contact Order. Mortenson was charged with Aiding and Abetting Violation of a No Contact Order.

Both parties were booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held without bond.
