Boone Man Arrested On Prostitution and Supplying Alcohol To A Minor Charges

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Boone man is in custody on prostitution and supplying alcohol to a minor charges.

The Storm Lake Police Department released today on January 31st they were called to Kings Pointe Resort in Storm Lake for a disputed room charge. Police spoke with four males aged sixteen to twenty who alleged they were left at the resort by a man identified as 69-year-old Lewis Thompson of Boone. Police allege that on January 30th Thompson picked up the four males in the Fort Dodge area and drove them to the resort where he offered to pay for a hotel room and alcohol in exchange for sex from the sixteen-year-old male.

Police allege that after Thompson’s offer was rejected, he left the males at the resort. Following an investigation, Thompson surrendered himself to Storm Lake Police on March 7th, where he was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on the prostitution and supplying alcohol to a minor charges.

Thompson was jailed on a $6,000 bond.
