Brief Tornado Believed to Have Caused Damage to Farm Near Sibley

Sibley, IA (KICD)—A brief tornado is believed to have caused some damage to farm near Sibley Friday afternoon.

A delayed report sent to the National Weather Service Friday evening by Osceola County Emergency Management says the twister is believed to have touched down around 3:40 damaging an outbuilding was damaged along with some trees.

There was no indications on radar of rotation and no warning was issued, but the report notes drone footage shows a damage path in a nearby field leading up to that farm.
