BVU Theft Arrest

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A New Mexico woman is charged on a September theft at a Buena Vista University Campus suite.

On Friday, September 18th, Storm Lake Police took a report of a burglary to a suite at Briscoe Hall on the campus of Buena Vista University. Police were told a person entered a dorm suite, and stole items from at least 8 student victims. Over $300 in cash, gift cards and personal items were stolen during the incident.

The suspect was identified as 22-year old Jordan Flynn, of Albuquerque. Police learned that she had since left the area. Police then put out warrants on Flynn, charging her with 4 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree a class D felony and 4 counts of Theft 5th Degree.

On Monday, October 19th, Flynn voluntarily returned to Storm Lake and surrendered to police. She was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and released pending a court date.
