Twin Lakes, IA (KICD() — A Lohrville woman was killed in an SUV vs. semi collision.

The Iowa State Patrol said the accident happened Friday evening near Twin Lakes. 44-yr old Deana Benchek was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound on Iowa Highway 4 north of U.S. Highway 20. She crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound semi tractor trailer, driven by 43-yr old Jamie Manwarren of Emmetsburg.

Bencheck was pronounced dead at the scene. Manwarren was not injured in the accident.
