Cherokee County Fair Turns 100

Cherokee, IA (KICD) — It is a milestone year for the Cherokee County Fair. Friends of the Fair co-founder Pam Bezoni says most county fairs started as livestock shows, but not this one.

Bezoni says they’re trying to collect fair history for future generations.

The Iowa History Bus will also be at the Cherokee County fair this week. KICD is airing updates from nine county fairs this summer, brought to you by Cooperative Energy and C.S. Agrow.
