Estherville, IA (KICD)– The City of Estherville saw a significant increase in revenue for the fiscal year ending June 30th according to a new audit.
Brinkman and Reed, CPA released presented the annual findings to the City Council last week which included a 33-percent increase in revenues from a year earlier totaling a little of 23 million dollars.
Disbursements were also increased, but by 14-percent. The audit found the increase in income is largely due to the receipt of bond proceeds while with more money also going out because of the pool project.
A full copy of the audit report is available for review at the City Clerk’s office and on the State Auditor website.
