Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Clay County Cattlemen Association have named their producers of the year. Chris and Marcia Langner farm in Southeast Clay County between Ayrshire and Gillette Grove.
Chris Langner grew up raising hogs, but fortunately became a hired man for a cattlemen who had a cute daughter.
Langner is optimistic about the beef industry, and the next generation.
Chris and Marcia Langner were surprised with the Cattle Producer of the Year award at the annual banquet Saturday night.
