Spencer, IA (KICD) — After a year in a position funded by the Spencer Chamber of Commerce and Spencer Public Schools, Alex Dreier is going back into education full-time. After coordinating the instructional opportunities program, he’s been hired as the new dean of students at Spencer Middle School beginning July 1st.

Dreier tells KICD News he’s got to see how well Spencer schools operate on a first hand basis.

Drier taught in Webster city, was an instructional coach in Waukee, and was an assistant principal in West Des Moines before moving to Spencer last year. He says he enjoys students at all levels but especially middle school.
