Fostoria, IA (KICD) — Firefighters responded to a Fostoria house fire.

Around 8:20 Friday morning, the Spencer Fire Department assisted the Fostoria Fire and Rescue with the fire at 4 Highway Avenue NW in Fostoria.

Kim Kroger is the Fostoria Fire Chief. He tells KICD News what crews encountered upon arrival…

He said the fire departments had to use very little water to finish extinguishing the blaze, but there was moderate damage to the home..

Kroger said there is no official cause of the blaze determined at this time.
