Spencer, IA (KICD) — As KICD News first reported a couple weeks back, The Hen House in Downtown Spencer is under new ownership.

Jay and Garek (Garr-ick) Norton of Sutherland took possession of The Hen House on October 12th. Jay tells KICD News he’s honored to carry on the great tradition of the downtown business:

Jay says both he and Garek have an extensive background in home decor and decorating.

The Nortons say they will continue to carry the popular lines of Vera Bradley, Times and several others, as well as expand the baby department with Baby Gabriella, Melissa & Doug and Jelly-Cat. They will also be introducing some new lines to The Hen House in the near future.
