“It’s Lit Fireworks”– First Vendor in NW Iowa

Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — Two families are teaming up to light up the summer.

“It’s Lit Fireworks” will be the first company to start selling fireworks Northwest Iowa. While Fireworks became legal in Iowa on June 1st, no vendors had become licensed near Spirit Lake. Owner, Mark Winterfield tells KICD News how he got into the area…

Winterfield plans to travel around Northwest Iowa to Sioux Center, Sheldon, Hall, Rock Valley, Rock Rapids, Le Mars, Orange City/Alton area, Spirit Lake and Arnolds Park.

The team consists of the Bousma and Winterfield families. Winterfield gave insight to the dynamic saying the team is hard-working and both families collaborate well with one another.

“It’s Lit Fireworks” is located at 2064 on Highway 9 in Spirit Lake.
