Spencer, IA (KICD) — For those who listen to KICD AM 1240 on 98.3, the FM translator, you’ve likely noticed a change.

KICD AM is now being simulcast on a new FM translator at 102.5. Kevin Tlam, the Operations Manager for the Spencer Radio Group, explains why this change was made:

With KICD AM moving their FM translator to 102.5, that left the radio statoin with the decision of what to do with the signal on 98.3 FM. Tlam says after much discussion, the Spencer Radio Group is now offering a new format for listeners:

The Spencer Radio Group would to thank their listeners and advertisers for their patience and understanding during the transition.
