Latest Report Shows Decline in Corn and Soybean Conditions.

The USDA released its latest crop report this morning that includes a decline in condition for the nation’s corn and soybean crop.

The numbers show the corn crop sitting at 55 percent good to excellent and 15 very poor to poor. Soybeans are considered 52 percent good to excellent and 15 percent very to poor.

Kevin Sullivan from the USDA/NASS Upper Midwest Field Office has the Iowa numbers.

The new report also notes top moisture is 19 percent very short, 42 percent short, 38 percent adequate and one percent surplus.
