Laurens, IA (KICD)– Multiple area fire departments were called in to help with a Monday house in Pocahontas County.

Laurens fire crews were called to 337 Culbertson Street on the southwest side of the community.

Very few details have been released, including the extent of damage and a possible cause.

Assisting at the scene were firefighters from Pocahontas and Havelock along with Pocahontas Ambulance, Laurens Police Department and the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office
