Pocahontas, IA (KICD)—Officials at a Northwest Iowa school district say no danger was found while investigating a threat made to the school on Wednesday.

A statement released by Pocahontas Area Superintendent Joseph Kramer says the district was made aware of a potential threat on social media shortly after eight o’clock Wednesday morning which led to an investigation that later determine the threat was not credible.

Local law enforcement is currently dealing with anyone believed to have had a direct connection to the incident.
