Spencer, IA (KICD)– Community members, local public officials and members of the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors came together on the west side of Spencer Wednesday evening to OFFICIALLY open the new corporate headquarters for Northwest Bank.

Joe Conover is part of the management team for the financial institution that was first opened in 1949 and then purchased by Neil and Dwight Conover forty years later. He tells KICD News the new building was constructed in 2019 and 2020 to allow more room to better serve Northwest Bank customers.

The new 36-thousand square foot facility houses more than one hundred employees that take care of most of the “back end” banking work.

Northwest bank has grown to more than 350 total employees that serve 16 communities in Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska including a number of locations in our immediate broadcast area.
