Northwest Iowa Community College Names Giese Athletic Director

Sheldon, Ia (KICD) – Northwest Iowa Community College has named Greta Giese as the school’s first Athletic Director. Giese has played a big part in bringing Intercollegiate Athletics to campus.

Representing the NCC athletic department right now is Sports Shooting, which was started int he Spring of 2019. Men’s and Women’s Soccer will also be added to the Athletic Department.

NCC will join the rest of the State’s Juco’s in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

The Northwest Iowa Area now includes NCC, Iowa Lakes, Western Iowa Tech, and Northeast of Nebraska as schools within the ICCAC, which Giese says has been convenient for travel.
