Firefighters Battle Oasis Night Club Fire

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — Storm Lake Firefighters battled a fire at the Oasis Night Club located at 200 East Railroad Street Sunday night.

The Storm Lake Fire Department says upon arrival to the scene, they encountered heavy smoke in the building and through the use of thermal imaging cameras found and extinguished a fire burning on the stage located at the east end of the building.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, the damage is estimated at $100,000.

Firefighters were on scene for two and a half hours.
