Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Fall season is all about celebrating the harvest with Octoberfest and People for Pets in Spencer is using that idea as a fundraiser this weekend.

Heather Story tells KICD News the fun will all take place on Saturday but at a different venue than in the past.

Kristi Busse says there will also be an auction for community members to bid on.

Petoberfest will run Saturday from five to eight with shelter tours available during the first hour. Tickets are 25 dollars and can be purchased in advance at People for Pets or at the door the night of the event.
