Pocahontas County Announces Candidate Line-Up for June Primary

Pocahontas County, IA (KICD)– Pocahontas County has released it list of candidates for the upcoming June Primary Election.

There is only one contested race in the county which will be for the District 1 seat on the Board of Supervisors. The list shows three Republicans, Peter Seehusen, Wendy Panbeck and Emily Williams squaring off with the winner then going against Democrat Jeffrey Ives in November.

Other candidates on the ballot in June will be Wanita Hinrickson for County Auditor, Steven Nelson for Sheriff and Kyle Smith for Board of Supervisors District 3. All three are registered Republicans.
