Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)– A Pocahontas man has been jailed on charges related to with sex abuse offense out of Palo Alto County.

20-year-old Michael Petersen was arrested last Friday on a active warrant for violating probation on an original charge of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.

Petersen was unable to post the required bond and was booked into jail to await his initial court appearance.
