Pony Express Cancels Easter Weekend Ride

IA, (KICD) — The Pony Express Riders of Iowa have cancelled their annual Easter weekend ride and festivities due to COVID-19 concerns, the first time such a move has ever been made.

Donny Essick, the Clay County Chair for the riders, says even through the ride itself has been cancelled, there will still be collection point on Friday from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M.

Essick says those wanting more information can contact him or visit the Pony Express website.

The Pony Express Riders thanks its sponsors, members, and volunteers for their continued dedication and hard work with the fundraising.
