Prostitution Solicitation Arrests

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — Six men have been arrested after a prostitution investigation.

The Storm Lake Police conducted an investigation into online solicitation of prostitution, Saturday night and Sunday morning. The investigation called Operation Fall Fling focused on the internet trafficking, and was monitored by officers, who communicated in numerous ways with individuals soliciting for sex over the past week.

On Saturday night, officers posed as prostitutes on the internet, and several men allegedly arraigned to meet for sex at a Storm Lake motel.
As a result, police arrested Demarius Daniels and Lay Htoo of Storm Lake, Mark Halverson of Linn Grove, Dennis Ball of Spencer, William Foster of Fairmont, TX and Kevin Folchert of Sioux City.

All six men were charged with Prostitution, and were booked into the Buena Vista County Jail. Police report they seized over $2500 in cash during the investigation.
