South Dakota Authorities Release Information on Motorcycle Crash that Killed Spirit Lake Man

Brandon, SD (KICD)– The South Dakota State Patrol has released official information in the weekend crash that killed a Spirit Lake man.

The report obtained by KICD News notes 62-year-old Randy Loerch was on Highway 11 north of Brandon around 4:15 Sunday afternoon when it appears he pulled off the road in attempt to make a u-turn when he entered the path of another northbound vehicle

The 28 year old car driver was not hurt. Loerch was reportedly not wearing a helmet and died at a Sioux Falls Hospital.
