Estherville IA, (KICD)– On Monday night the city of Estherville held a meeting to discuss the South Riverside Park Dam Project. Senior Environmental Scientist and Landscape Architect for Stantec Mimi Wagner spoke with KICD about their plan to replace the dam.

An area that brought a lot of discussion around this project was how it would affect fishing; Wagner explains how the rapids will affect fishing.

Residents were asked to fill out a survey with those responses going before the City Council at a later date.
