Spencer, IA (KICD) — A Spencer attorney was arrested in the Clay County Courthouse on December 11th.

In information received today, the Spencer Police Department says at 1:30 P.M. police responded to a call of an intoxicated female in the courthouse. Officers investigated the complaint and located 49-year-old Dianne Wallwey of Spencer in magistrate court acting in the capacity as an attorney. During the investigation, officers were able to determine that Wallwey was under the influence of alcohol and subsequently placed her under arrest and charged her with public intoxication.

Wallwey was taken to the Clay County Jail without incident.
