Arnolds Park, IA (KICD)– A Spencer man accused of burglarzing a series of storage units in the Arnolds Park area has changed his plea.

67-year-old Terry Wirkus originally pled not guilty last April to two counts of first degree theft, one count of second degree theft and one count of third degree burglary with a jury trial originally scheduled to begin last summer before multiple motions for continuance were accepted by the court.

Online records show Wirkus pled guilty to the second degree theft and third degree burglary charges earlier this month. He is scheduled to sentenced in the matter in May.
