Spencer, IA (KICD) — An Albert City man is dead following a shooting in Spencer.

Around 12:39 Friday morning, emergency personnel were sent to 819 East 12th Street for a shooting. Upon arrival, personnel found 30-year old Nicolas Bandomo, who had been shot.

Bandomo was taken to the Spencer Hospital, and was later transferred to Avera McKennon Hospital in Sioux Falls, where he died . It was learned that Bandomo had been arrested in Spencer before on charges of Domestic Abuse and Violation of a No Contact Order.

The investigation into the shooting continues, with the Division of Criminal Investigation and the Spencer Police currently investigating this incident.
