Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)– A Spirit Lake woman is behind bars facing multiple drug and weapon charges.

Criminal complaints filed by the Spirit Lake Police Department allege 34-year-old Angela Caskey was in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana that was packaged for sale along with prescription pills not prescribed for her and multple pieces of drug related equipment.

A separate complaint included in online court records says Caskey was also in possession of a firearm that had previously been reported stolen.

Caskey currently stands charged with possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, trafficking a stolen weapon and two counts each of controlled substance violation and failing to affix a drug tax stamp.

She is being held in the Dickinson County Jail on 50 thousand dollars bond.
