Milford, IA (KICD) — The Milford Park Board has a plan to enhance all city parks. Mayor Steve Anderson says they’ll start with a four-phase update of Florence Park near the High School.

As for longer-term plans ….

Florence Park already got a bump in activity when an enhanced shelter house was dedicated three years ago.

Speaking of parks … Mayor Anderson says citizens are observing dogs running without leashes, dogs on the ballfields – where they’re prohibited – and a growing problem with owners not cleaning up after their pets.

The council says if the problem doesn’t get solved soon, dogs will be prohibited at all city facilities.
