The Pride Group to close local facility
Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — The Pride Group based out of LeMars will be shutting down one of their local facilities.
The Pride Group will be shutting down the location that is housed in the Oak Haven Care Facility in Okoboji. The company announced on March 25th the closing will be happening because of restructuring.
Company officials say the restructuring is happening because changes are being made to Iowa Medicaid, along with a change in state rules that will take place in March of 2019.
Company officials also say the local facility will stay open until relocation of the residents.
