Third Suspect Arrested in Weekend Assault

Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– The Storm Lake Police Department has made a third arrest stemming from a weekend assault at a dance club that left one person with injuries.

The assault occurred on Saturday at the El Mariachi Dance Club in Storm Lake when three men allegedly assaulted a club employee and one of them broke the plate glass window of the business.

Two of the suspects were apprehended within hours of the incident, but 21-year-old Eduardo Diaz III remained at large until he was arrested at the Buena Vista County Courthouse on Tuesday.

Diaz was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail without incident and held on a $5000 bond.
