Weekly Health Update- Bumgarner Retiring

Spencer, IA (KICD)– As we previously reported there is going to be a change in leadership at Spencer Hospital later this year as President and CEO Bill Bumgarner enters into retirement.

Bumgarner joined us for Saturday’s Weekly Health Update to talk about his career that started in Spencer more than 40 years ago.

When it comes to some of his major accomplishments, Bumgarner defaults back to how Spencer Hospital has been able to grow with and serve the needs of local communities.

Bumgarner says it is likely going to be several months before much more on the search for his replacement is made public.

Bill Bumgarner will retire from Spencer Hospital at the end of December but says he is committed to the facility and continuing to help it grow until that time.
