Tourism Steady in Okoboji This Summer

Arnolds Park, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — According to cell phone data, tourism in Okoboji is up about a percent from 2023, and up substantially from last year.

Tourism Director Kiley Zankowki says sales tax from vacation rentals was 3.6 million dollars in June, and 6.3 million for the first six months of the year.

That same cell-phone data showed that there were 92 thousand visitors in Okoboji the 4th of July representing all 50 states.
