Spencer is Holding a Recovery Resource Event at the Clay County fairgrounds

The city of Spencer is holding a recovery resource event at the Clay County Fairgrounds Tower Gate Pavilion.

Resources available at this event include Iowa legal, Aid Iowa State University Extension Outreach, Care Connections of Northern Iowa, Season Center for Behavioral Health, Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Crisis Response Canines, Samaritans Purse and Billy Graham’s Chaplains, American Red Cross, Iowa Insurance Division, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, Iowa Workforce Development, Disaster Small Business Association, and FEMA disaster Recovery Services,

The event runs Friday, July 5th from 3:00PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday July 6th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM food and childcare is provided.  The entrance is off 4th Ave. W – follow the signs.
