Spencer, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — Wednesday, April 1st was another successful “April Foods Day” for the Upper Des Moines Food Pantry.

We managed to deliver three truckloads of food – which came to a total of 1,585 pounds of food. In addition, we also received $3,000 in cash donations.  All of us at Spencer Media Group sincerely thank all our listeners for donating and making this event a success. Also a special thank you to members of Scouting America Troop 123 for volunteering.
