Area Road Conditions

Northwest Iowa Now — From the National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls – as of 9 am Sunday, March 15th, the strong winds and snow continue to bring blizzard conditions to most of the region.

Many roads are completely covered with ice and snow, and parts of east central South Dakota and southwest Minnesota are in “Travel Not Advised” status.
Do not travel during this storm unless you absolutely must!

Wind gusts of 30-50 mph and limited visibility in blowing snow are too much for plows to keep up with.
