Best New Foods of Clay County Fair 2025 Announced

Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Clay County Fair Manager Jason Brockshus has announced the candidates for Best New Food this year …

The finalists are a Bison Cheesesteak Crunch with Fritos, a Dumpster Hot Dog with pulled pork and jalapenos, Island Noodles Stir Fry, a Churro with ice cream, a Chicken and Waffle sandwich with Nashville Hot sauce, and a Spudnut Twist pastry.

There are at least twelve other new food offerings this year including pickle-flavored lotus drinks, lemonade, and Bloody Mary’s; Lamb Chislic, and a Jalapeno Reuben.
