Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Milford Fire Department was dispatched to a trailer fire at the Emerson Bay campground on the Southwest corner of West Lake Okoboji Labor Day afternoon. Fire Chief Jim Carpenter says two individuals got out unharmed, and none of the surrounding campers were damaged.
Carpenter is nearly 100 percent sure the fire was electrical.
The Milford fire crew was dispatched around 3pm Monday and was on the scene for less than an hour.
