Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) – The Clay County Auditor’s Office has announced that voters can now request absentee ballots for the November 4th City-School Election.

If you want to vote by mail, you must complete an absentee ballot request form and return it to the Auditor’s Office before 5 p-m on Monday, October 20th. You can find those forms on the Clay County website or request one by calling 2-6-2-1-5-6-9.

Officials note that you may receive several request forms from different groups, but you only need to submit ONE form to the Auditor’s Office.

In-person absentee voting will be available at the Auditor’s Office starting Wednesday, October 15th, and will run through Monday, November 3rd. Curbside voting will also be an option.
